It's like christmas in a jar. It is quite gingery and spicy but gives a lovely flavour and warms you up on a cold day
Far too sweet, far too gingery
This hot chocolate comes in beautifully presented packaging. I was very keen to try it, as I love both hot chocolate & ginger. The problem is thats its far too sweet & far too gingery. The chocolate is lost in the flavour. I would have expected hot chocolate with a subtle hint of ginger, not the other way round!
Titled as 'winter spice', I was thrilled to receive this as a tester product as I'm a massive fan of those flavours. Only the more to disappoint you with, my dear, as I find that the potential has been filtered away. The chocolate itself is sugary, weak and insipid, even with the full three scoops in a regular mug, and lacks chocolately full-bodied sweetness. Then, as a separate event a few seconds later, ginger. The sharp, hot, spicy hit of a pungent crystallised ginger, completely missing all the gentle warming spice which would have given much needed balance and cogency. On a survey of our Sunday Night Football crew there is disagreement over whether it sits below or above the Andy Dalton line on the Tom Brady scale, but nobody would buy again.
Was sent to review and it was lovely. The added ginger gave it a lovely flavour.
Nice, but not what expected
This was nice, but it is more of a hot ginger then hot chocolate! Couldnt taste the chocolate and was very sweet
Was sent this to review and I cant decide whether Im a fan or not. I love ginger but maybe theres just a little to much fire in this mix?
