You Give We Give 10 GBP

£10
Product information
We've been working with social enterprises, charities, food bank partners and other initiatives committed to redistributing as much food as possible and reducing food poverty in the UK, for several years.
We convert your donations to groceries, direct donations, or a combination of both, match it (up to £25,000 per week), then give the total amount to our partners. So, for every pound you give, our partners receive two pounds worth of groceries and/or money.
And that's how small donations can have a huge effect.
Terms & Conditions
1. Choose how much you'd like to donate: £2.50, £5, or £10.
2. Add your donation to your trolley, do your weekly shop and check out as usual.
3. We'll match the value of all donations received up to £25,000 per week. For example: if you add a £10 voucher to your shop, we'll add another £10 to that which results in us giving £20 worth of groceries or direct donations.
4. Donations will be converted into groceries, remain as a financial donation, or a combination of the two depending on a partners' need and what we have at the time of donation.
5. Partners are all registered charities or social enterprises and donations are made at our discretion.
6. The cost of purchase will not contribute towards the minimum spend of your order.

Great idea
An easy way to donate to food banks, but I wish we could tick a box to say we don't want the card in our shopping.
A regular and easy donation every week
We do this every week and some weeks double and triple it. So many people benefit and the fact that it's matched is brilliant. Thank you ocado for making it easy.
out of stock????
How? I am hassling them to reinstate. So far, 4 weeks and multipleexplanations. Can you help keypunch the pressure?
Easy Donation
Very easy way to donate, but I would prefer it if it could be Gift Aided so the extra 25% can be gathered. is it possible to sign a G A Declaration for all future and past donations?
Easy and convenient
This is an easy and convenient way to make a donation without having to consider the logistics of buying something and leaving it at a donation point. I hope it makes a difference. Recognise that the logistics and setup of this means I get a physical card each time but would probably save cost/weight/materials if it was swapped for a smaller piece of recycled paper instead.
Ocado do not profit from You Give We Give
Not only do Ocado match our donations but the price of the items is calculated at their wholesale price, not retail. In other words, they do not make a profit from the items we and they donate. Other supermarkets have bins into which customers put items they've paid retail prices for and the supermarket therefore makes a profit from the donations. Thank you, Ocado!
