You give money, we give food. Buy a £10 voucher and we'll give at least £20 of fresh groceries to our charity food partners. So your donation counts for double or more.
Our charity food partners send us their grocery wish list – it could be simply meat and veg, or tea and loaves of bread – every partner is different. We match your £10 donation with at least £20 of fresh groceries and send donations out as often as needed.
Donate Food with Ocado puts power back into the hands of food charities. Rather than receiving boundless baked beans or piles of potatoes, which they can’t always redistribute, this way they get exactly what they need. Between 4th December 2017 and 4th August 2018, customers generously donated over £350,000. That’s at least £700,000 of fresh groceries for our charity food partners. (And counting!)
Who are our charity food partners?
We’ve built relationships with a number of registered food charities across the country. Each partner has been chosen for the incredible difference they make to the community. Donation figures are published each year in our Annual Report and our Corporate Responsibility Report, available at ocadogroup.com.
Here's how it works:
1. Add a £10 voucher to your trolley. (£2.50 and £5 vouchers are available, too.)
2. Finish your weekly Ocado shop and check out as usual.
3. We send charity food partners at least £20 of fresh groceries.
Terms & Conditions
1) The voucher cost doesn’t contribute towards your minimum spend.
2) Financial donations are converted into groceries, allocated at our discretion.
3) Charity food partners are all registered charities.

A helping hand in difficult times
I have been in circumstances in the past where Id have loved someone to lift me out of a hard place. It is a pleasure to be able to do this for others, decades later, when the benefit system is even harder to access, through Ocado - well done for an excellent idea!
Good way to give
This scheme makes donating to those who need food easy. I like that Ocado double the donation. of course it's disgraceful that people are dependent on charity for their basic needs. But I do hope my donation helps them.
This is fab -shelters are given what they need and your donation is matched by Ocado.
A fantastic idea
This is an incredible, considerate offer from Ocado, I admire this scheme tremendously. Bravo!
Needs more advertisment
Agree with the others that this needs to be advertised more heavily. I regularly donate to the Waitrose foodbank and had no idea this existed. Particularly like the fact that fresh produce is available as part of this particular scheme. I'd suggest including this in an email, as well as advertising on the site.
Publish How Much Gets Donated
Like other people I think this is a good idea and has become just a part of my shopping - however every time I click I think I would like to know more about how much is being raised and what communities are being helped - in a year my donation is significant and I just like to know a bit more.
Supplier response - Hi WHN, thanks for your feedback. We published our first Corporate Responsibility report this year, which has lots of info on the charities who benefit from Donate Food with Ocado. You can access a copy at ocadogroup.com by clicking Our Responsibilities. We've also just updated the product information with more up to date figures. Between 4th December 2017 and 4th August 2018, customers donated £350,000. That's at least £700,000 of groceries for food charities across the country!
