You give money, we give food. Buy a £5 voucher and we'll give at least £10 of fresh groceries to our charity food partners. So your donation counts for double or more.
Our charity food partners send us their grocery wish list - it could be simply meat and veg, or tea and loaves of bread - every partner is different. We match your £5 donation with at least £10 of fresh groceries and send donations out as often as needed.
Donate Food with Ocado puts power back into the hands of food charities. Rather than receiving boundless baked beans or piles of potatoes, which they can't always redistribute, this way they get exactly what they need. Between 4th December 2017 and 4th August 2018, customers generously donated over £350,000. That's at least £700,000 of fresh groceries for our charity food partners. (And counting!)
Who are our charity food partners?
We've built relationships with a number of registered food charities across the country. Each partner has been chosen for the incredible difference they make to the community. Donation figures are published each year in our Annual Report and our Corporate Responsibility Report, available at ocadogroup.com.
Here's how it works:
1. Add a £5 voucher to your trolley. (£2.50 and £10 vouchers are available, too.)
2. Finish your weekly Ocado shop and check out as usual.
3. We send charity food partners at least £10 of fresh groceries.
Terms & Conditions:
1) The voucher cost doesn't contribute towards your minimum spend.
2) Financial donations are converted into groceries, allocated at our discretion.
3) Charity food partners are all registered charities.

well done ocado
If only all supermarkets did this. Thank you Ocado. Another caring, conscientious and thoughtful act reflecting best policy. Exemplary.
Great idea that we can buy these and Ocado will buy £10 of fresh food!
great initiative but make paperless!
we really love how Ocado offers this as part of our virtual basket, so huge kudos for that, but can they not be paperless?! an email confirmation of the donation would be fine!
Much more rewarding than stocking our own cupboards-food banks have their issues (i.e. people can slip under the radar) but great idea nevertheless. In the days when I was struggling to cope I would have loved someone to give me a helping hand - so I am glad that now, decades later, when the benefit system is even harder to access, that there are systems such as this. Well done, Ocado
Easy way to donate, only glad to help, will give £10 on next order, hope it goes to food banks, we have just had one opened in Enfield N London, what a disgrace it`s getting.
Brilliant, but which charities?
Love this idea but would be keen to know which charities are being donated to.
