almost pure sugar syrup
Very little vanilla flavour in thick sugar syrup. For that it's very expensive! Also in a plastic bottle. I will stick to the much better value more expensive brands in future.
No alcohol \- Great for children
I’ve found it hard to find non-alcoholic vanilla essence. This is perfect for my daughter’s pancakes and sweet treats.
Not impressed
The vanilla flavour itself is very mild, its terribly sugary and thick like a syrup and not very cost effective - lots needed to achieve the right flavour whereas with more expensive brands much less is needed and the extract lasts longer (and the taste is better).

Mild taste of vanilla but does leave lasting strong after taste. You will have to add lots more to get the vanilla flavour. Received this free from Ocado.
Strange
I am reviewing as I received a free sample from Ocado. This is very syrupy in consistency and only tastes vaguely of vanilla. It does have a strong aftertaste that is not pleasant. Okay if using for something like coffee or hot chocolate where you want a sweet hint of something but I wouldn’t use for baking,
