Reasonable marzipan
This marzipan is ok, definitely edible! But it is made with artificial sweeteners that give a slightly bitter aftertaste. I'm not sure why given that the first ingredient is sugar!! Perhaps it makes it softer and easier to roll, it definitely is a little softer than normal marzipan.
Chemically taste
I used this to make an Easter cake with a nest and marzipan eggs on top but the marzipan tastes really chemically and I had to throw it out. This really went against the grain as I try to keep food waste as close to zero as possible. I will go back to making my own.
Nice marzipan
I used this to make a simnel cake and it did the job and tasted nice. I like the fact it is not bright yellow.
tastes good an almost white
I was asked to review this product by Ocado. I used this with a lemon and pecan cake and sugar paste on top. Tasted nice and didn't' overpower the cake. it was easy to use and place on the cake. It dried fairly quickly due to the colour you could actually use without sugar paste on top and decorate.
Nice smell
I don't often use marzipan, but this will be a good addition to the annual Christmas cake.
Nice texture
Taste and not that strong yellow color can use without icing and looks nice
