Preparation and Usage
Hints and Tips
1. To create a thicker icing line carefully cut the tip of the tube half way down with scissors. If the end becomes slightly misshaped after cutting use the scissors to pinch the end of the tube back to a circle.
2. Gently use a knife to create the design before piping on the white icing.
3. Fold the decorating icing tube down whilst piping to help push the icing out. Hold the tube slightly above the green icing
to create a straighter line.
4. Use your finger to press down any icing that is not smooth after piping.

Recipes
You will need:
30ml (2 tbsp) vegetable oil
2 medium eggs
110ml water and 25ml (5 tsp) warm water for the icing
Let's Get Baking
1 Preheat the oven to 180°C / 160°C fan / gas mark 4 approximately 10 minutes before your bake is ready to go in the oven,
and assemble your baking tray following the instructions. Ensure the top edges are creased and folded over to give the tray
stability. Do not grease the tray.
2 Mix together the Green cake mix, 2 medium eggs, 30ml (2 tbsp) vegetable oil, and 110ml water in a bowl with a wooden
spoon until the mixture is smooth with no lumps and the colour is fully incorporated.
3 Pour all the cake mixture evenly into the prepared tray, making sure the mix is pushed into the corners.
4 Bake in the centre of the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a skewer, inserted fully into the centre of the cake,
comes out clean.
5. Whilst your cake is baking, make up your icing by mixing together the green icing mix, and 25ml (5 tsp) of warm water until
smooth and spreadable, carefully add a little more water if necessary. Leave to one side and mix again when the cake is
baked, ensuring all the colour is well mixed in.
6. Remove the cake from the oven and leave to cool completely on a cooling rack, still in the baking tray.
7. Mix your icing well again to ensure the colour is mixed in and use to cover the top of your traybake. For best results allow
icing to set before decorating.
8. Use the decorating icing tube to create the design of your choice (scan the QR code for more ideas), squeeze the icing
tube using steady and even pressure.
Cut into 12 slices.
Serve & enjoy!
