Genmaicha is hugely popular in Japan, distinctively combining smooth green tea with roasted brown rice kernels. Matcha has an even more illustrious pedigree. Central to the Tea Ceremony and favoured by monks as part of their meditation practice, high-grade Sencha tea leaves are carefully milled to give a bright jade green powder.

I frequently order genmaicha-ira from hibiki-an in Japan, this is horribly weak in comparison. If you liked this then treat yourself to the real thing!
Delicious toasty tea
Delighted to find Ocado has this - and the other Dragonfly teas. This has an unusual but really refreshing tast of green tea with toast highlights - sort of like tea and toast but without the calories !!
Fab toasted rice nutty flavour
Had this elsewhere and pleased to find it! Yum toasted rice flavour!
I've never given a poor review before, but I really disliked this tea. It tasted like scrapings from a forest floor, rather bitter and not at all what I expected.
A bit different
A bit different to my usual tea, quite nice , but expensive
Nice but not worth the price
This is tasty, and has a satisfying umami, but 33p per bag is a bit much.
