Drambuie Scotch Whisky Liqueur 50cl
Product information
This rich, honeyed liqueur with layers of luscious flavour can also be lengthened into a refreshingly long drink and offers plenty of options for imaginative hosts looking to delight their guests and extend the evening.
Delicious as a post-dinner treat, Drambuie's infusion of honey means it's velvety smooth when sipped neat. Over ice, its fragrant blend of herbs and spices, make it a fuss free ready-made ‘Old Fashioned' style cocktail. Drambuie's rich, enticing honeyed heather aromas combine fantastically well with cream, and so Drambuie is delicious when used in indulgent boozy desserts or liqueur coffees. It is also a perfect pairing to coffee, chocolate or cheese which is why Drambuie is frequently served as that “little extra something” after the main meal.
In 1745 Bonnie Prince Charlie landed on the West Coast of Scotland. Driven by fiery ambition, he was intent on reclaiming the throne of his ancestors, rallying many to his cause. Despite early victories, they were decisively defeated at the Battle of Culloden and Charlie escaped to the Isle of Skye under the protection of the MacKinnon clan. By way of thanks he gifted them the only possession he had left, the recipe to his personal elixir. They called it Drambuie, after the Gaelic'An Dram Buidheach' which means The drink that satisfies.

Preparation and Usage
Serve 50ml (3 Tbsp) Drambuie with lots of ice in a glass tumbler, once cooled, pour over a double espresso or equal amount of strong black coffee. Ready-to-drink iced coffees work just as well and are no fuss at all.
If you like your coffee Latte or a longer drink, just add milk. Dairy-free? No problem, this serve is unbelievably delicious using Coconut milk and other dairy-free milk alternatives.
Isle of Skye Speciality Coffee:
For a showstopping after dinner coffee, and a tasty alternative to an Irish coffee why not offer your guests a British version, an Isle of Skye liqueur coffee infused with Drambuie. Brew some piping hot coffee and pour in a glass, stir in 50ml (3 Tbsp) of Drambuie honey whisky liqueur and then float some thick cream on top. For a final flourish you can drizzle a little honey on top.
Top Tip: To get the cream to float: 1. Ensure the coffee is very, very hot, 2. The cream is very, very cold, 3. Pour double cream or whipping cream slowly on the back of a teaspoon for it to float on top of your coffee. Showstopper!
Scottish Mojito:
Mojitos are a crowd-pleaser, little wonder then that this long, refreshing cocktail is the no #2 most popular cocktail in the UK. For a very British take on the Cuban tipple, simply pour 50ml (3 Tbsp) of Drambuie honey liqueur, squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, combine with a handful of fresh mint, fill the glass with lots of ice and top with soda or sparkling water, and quick as a flash you have a delicious Scottish Mojito and no need for additional ingredients like sugar syrup.
For an even simpler version combine 50ml Drambuie with 150ml of a premium traditional style lemonade, such as San Pellegrino's Lemon and Mint or Limonata, or FeverTree's Lemon Tonic and simply add some fresh mint to garnish. Voila!

Love this. Just discovered Drambuie and iced coffee. Saw the ad and thought I’d give it a go when my friends came over. Yum and went down a treat with everyone, buying another bottle now for Christmas.

Perfect after dinner tipple
Lovely honey and rich spice flavour - pairs really well with deserts at a dinner party, or as a post dinner drink on its own. Also lovely in coffee as an indulgent treat [This review was collected as part of a promotion].
