great value

I add these to my mexican dishes with microwave rice for a quick wrap. I drain so salt not an issue for me. Keep in cupboard as prefer to Kidney beans in wraps.

worth the extra

Have always tended to use supermarket own brands for the various tinned bean products i use but decided to splash out on these when they were on offer and was surprised at how much better these were both as regards flavour and consistency

Can a bit damaged

The tin for these was a little bit dented and had a hint of rust along the bottom edge. However not too concerned as no bulges and the tin was still sealed as evidenced by the slight hiss when opened. They are salty and I would recommend fully draining the beans, however this doesn't take overly long so no problems from me.

No need for a tin can opener

Easy to open. Tastes almost meaty yet sweetish. Delicious healthy vegetarian meals can be made in a few minutes. People have been converted to loving beans as this brand seems to be the best tasting. Bonus is, it's only 80 pence

Salty

Bought these to use in a chilli con carne. Reviews were good and I thought they would make a change. Didnt notice they were in salt water and unfortunately my chilli was too salty to be enjoyed.
