Recipes
For 300g of dall fry one finely chopped onion in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add 1 level teaspoon each of East End coriander, cumin 1/2 teaspoon chilli, turmeric, ginger and garlic powders or alternatively use East End Rogan Josh or Balti spice blend. Add 200g chopped tomatoes. This preparation is called Tarka in Indian cooking. Add this to boiled dall and enjoy with East End Roti or East End boiled rice.
