Product information
The coconut, grown on the coconut tree, is enclosed in a thick oval shell revealing a hollow kernel that is full of milk when under-ripe. disgusting taste!
Disgusting taste, too fine...does not taste like dried coconut from other brands.
Fantastic
I love all of the East End products I have bought so far. This product is lovely.
Far too finely ground if you need texture
This is much cheaper than other brands of desiccated coconut, but is so finely ground that it didn't give me the texture I needed for coconut ice, nor did it fair well in a coconut sponge cake with coconut icing. Might be OK in a curry or soup where taste is more important than texture.
Savoury dishes only
Great if you want it for an Asian dish, but tastes faintly of curry so no good for sweet dishes
tasty with good texture
Nice smell
the only desiccated coconut I buy.
this is amazing value for money !! I bake regularly and is perfect.
