Recipes
To make a delicious Pilau Rice..
Melt 2oz of butter in pan and fry 1 large sliced onion until golden brown. Add 4 Black cardamoms, 1 inch piece of cinnamon, 6 cloves, 4 bay leaves, 1 tbsp of East End Haldi (Turmeric) Powder and fry for 2 minutes. Add washed East End Basmatti rice and fry for a further 2 minutes. Add 4 cups of water and bring to the boil. Simmer on a low heat until the rice is tender. Serves 4.
Must be cooked prior to consumption
