Toor dhal, cauliflower, green beans and spinach, simmered with tamarind, coconut and mustard seed
Sambar is a well known vegetable dhal curry from South India. It is served as an everyday dish as well as the first part at any feast. Traditionally it is eaten as the accompaniment to dosas - a pancake like preparation made from rice and dhal flour. The chunks of vegetables cooked in a dhal sauce and seasoned with South Indian spices, makes the perfect comfort food.

Tasty but watery
Quite nice but not really a stand-alone product. Needs to go with something else to soak up the water.
delicious chunky soup
I ate this as a and loved every single spoonful
Picked this up as a convenient low-calorie lunch. Unfortunately, it's bland and too watery to eat without rice.
I love the Easy Bean range but hadnt tried this one before. Was equally impressed. Really tasty and packed full of ingredients. It is quite soup like in consistency so wouldnt be an easy one to eat at work. I had it with a pitta bread to make it really filling. Will certainly be buying this one again.
This tasted ok but was really watery, to the point it was difficult to eat with a fork.
By far my favourite Easy Bean product of this type. If I have a very busy week, they're good to have in the fridge for a quick meal. Sometimes I cook some rice as well to have with it. Expensive though, so I tend to only buy when on offer.
