Can't taste anything but peanuts
I like this but as with others in this range, where the base ingredient is peanut, this just overwhelms the whole bar. I couldn’t taste the pecans or the maple at all.
Filling, simple ingredients and tasty
One of the better bars out there and my personal fave. They're really filling with a decent protein content and actually one of the lowest sugar bars on the market -like 2/3 less than the likes of Nakd, Deliicously Ella etc. Suitable for vegans and gluten and wheat free. Not sure what the issue is the below reviewer has with glucose syrup - it's a natural ingredient and like I said this has a lower sugar content than most bars and with the protein too doesn't give me energy crashes. Useful for runners too as it's an easy way to get some calories, protein and carbs after a run and I sometimes use for a healthy breakfast on the go with some fruit (these are so much better for you than the likes of Belvita)
These bars are not healthy or natural at all. If you feel tired and fatigued after eating them it could be the glucose syrup. AVOID. Blood sugar spikes!
Very Bad Experience
I would like to share with other potential purchasers of Eat Natural cereal bars a recent and really negative experience I have had with the company that manufactures them. I have purchased and eaten these bars without problem for many years. However earlier this month I bought a pack of bars from Waitrose/Ocado. One of the bars contained a small solid stone which immediately broke one of my teeth. The tooth was beyond repair and has had to be replaced, at considerable expense, by a crown. The tooth breakage also caused me great pain. Within 30 mins of the tooth breaking I had contacted Customer Services at the company to explain what had happened. They initially pretended to be helpful and concerned but then started failing to respond to emails and started to be really unhelpful and to just try to fob me off. I am now being forced into the position of having to sue the company because of their negligence and the harm I have suffered and costs I have incurred. This company appears to to have sloppy and unhygienic manufacturing methods and then couples that with being obstructive and unhelpful to to customers who suffer damage as a result.
I don't know what has been done to Eat Natural Bars during these last weeks, but they are now almost inedible. Dry, hard and in this case, if there is any maple syrup then it is undetectable.
Good balance of Ingredients
I've tried a number of Jordans cereal bars but always found them to be too sweet or have ingredients that I would not normally combine or eat. The difference with this latest Gluten Free bar and as others have commented is not too sweet. Will definitely be buying them again as ideal size.
