How to Use
Chopped into little pieces, these tomatoes are ready for any recipe that asks for them. Perfect for sauces, soups, casseroles and much more.
Coconut Tomato Curry
Cook 1 diced onion in a tsp oil on low heat until soft. Add 2-4 tbsp curry paste, 1 can chopped tomatoes and 1 can chick peas. Simmer for 5 mins, stirring frequently. Add 1 can coconut milk and simmer for 10-15 mins until thick.
Garlic Tomato Sauce
Cook 2 chopped garlic cloves and 1 diced onion in a tbsp oil until soft. Add 1 can chopped tomatoes, pinch of black pepper and stir. Simmer for 5-10 mins until thick.
Roasted Carrot and Tomato Soup
Roast 3 large chopped carrots in 2 tbsp oil at 200°C fan for 30-45 mins. Blitz carrots and 120ml water, pour into pot. Blend 1 can tomatoes, add to pot with 480ml water. Add black pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic granules and 1 tbsp vinegar. Simmer for 10 mins.
