This cleaner is not the cheapest but works well, has a great scent and is very thick. The big bottle is best value and keep a couple small ones to decant into. Also means we never run out.
Works well, could be more eco-friendly
We've been using these refills for a few years, and it is a good toilet cleaner. I have never had any difficulty re-filling smaller bottles by pulling off their spout and pouring the liquid in. Ecover could improve the product by changing to bag-in-box packaging, which would use less plastic.
Excellent
Great product. It's got a lovely smell and is very easy to pour and refill my small Ecover bottles that stand in the bathroom and toilet. Highly recommended.
Smells fresh
No good on limescale but freshens nicely
more expnsive per litre than smaller bottles
This flies in the face of ecological friendliness! It's way more expensive per litre than the smaller bottles so if you are cost-concious you end up throwing away more plastic. It is possible and quite easy to get the little spouts off the smaller bottles, by the way, with nails or a round-ended knife.. Why don't Ecover have a better recycling policy and procedure? I have taken empties to places where there are refills available but it costs more than buying a new bottle. Ridiculous! I'm going to use vinegar and water from now on. Simple, effective and no chemicals into the water system.
not possible to decant
Not fit for purpose. I feel conned
