Contains polyester and polyamide plastics

I love Ecozone and have bought their range of excellent cleaning and washing up products for years so I was excited to try their Kitchen Microfibre and Bathroom Microfibre Cloths. I was disappointed to find that they are made entirely from plastics - Polyester and Polyamide. These are a) made from oil/petrochemicals in an energy intensive process, b) shed plastic fragments into the water supply every time they are washed which end up in our oceans and waterways c) end up in landfill at the end of their life for years. The plastic does not absorb liquids so they are ineffective and literally "just scratch the surface". The problem is that other brands' cloths all contain these plastics too, so it's a case of choosing the best of a bad bunch - I prefer Marigold Wash & Wipe Microfibre Cloths or Marigold Wiper Upper All Purpose Microfibre Cloths which absorb more liquid. Shame, as I really wanted to love these and support Ecozone.

Removed hard water marks from shower door

Although you are directed to use these cloths on their own, I used with the Microban bathroom cleaner and it cleaned up hard water staining from the shower door that previous products had not been able to remove. Fantastic and I thoroughly recommend.

Good quality

Purchased three types of this cloth when on offer a few months ago. They are good quality and work well. Wash perfectly and still going strong.

Great at cleaning, but sheds

I really love these clothes. They're great at cleaning and last ages. However, the the last two purchased have started shedding fibres. That means lots of micro-plastics down the drain, which is hardly eco.

This got soap scum off the bath and tiles with nothing but water and a few wipes. Normally I have to scrub at it with cleaning fluid and it still leaves some behind. I was sceptical it would work but I'm totally converted. Used it on a glass shower screen, mirror and taps. All sparkly clean with minimal effort. Will be buying more

Top quality Micro Fibre

This cloth is top quality and equal to e-cloth. I know as I have bought many micro-fibre cloths over the years and the cheap ones and thin, limp and become mishapen very quickly. You can tell the quality of this cloths just by feeling it. Very good.
