Let there be light, daylight, with BioBulb. Our whiter than white bulb gives out light similar to natural daylight. It's not as harsh as standard bulbs and doesn't even flicker. It's easy on the eye too so it's great if you're reading, writing or sewing.
Biobulb uses 75% less energy than standard incandescent light bulbs, so it saves energy and is kind to your pocket too. That's not all; Biobulb gives off less heat than a standard bulb and lasts up to 10,000 hours. 25W (100w equivalent). How's that for helping reduce the planet's electricity use!
Ideal for suffers of S.A.D our 100W equivalent gives out 1750 lumens (almost a third more than standard bulbs) while using only 25W of power, closely replicating bright sunlight that may help to improve your mood, sleep and energy levels naturally.

Shines with the light of a thousand Suns
Don't buy if you're looking for a warm, homely light, do buy if you like dentist waiting room look.
Doesn't fit lamp
Has a squatter shape than the ones I've been buying so don't fit lamp. don't assume and bulk buy. I did. Sad times.
light is so white and bright and cold and horrible. Felt like i was in a prison.
ok but very overpriced for what they are
I live in a newbuild single aspect maisonette overlooked by three storey houses and other tall buildings and consequently it affects the amount of natural light entering the lounge, especially towards the back of the room. So I had the idea of buying some cheap ikea uplighters and putting these bulbs in to give the daylight a boost. The effect is quite convincing and the bulbs I received are solidly made however I have since found other bulb manufacturers sell the exact same spec bulbs for as little as two pounds. They aren't as easy to obtain but nonetheless they are out there. I would also imagine these would be rather grim if used at night.
By the light of the silvery moon
Those of you who like the cold, stark stare of moonlight will feel at home with this. Anybody who prefers a bit of warmth, snap up traditional bulbs while you can. This is not the equivalent of a normal 100W bulb, and pricewise we are being bled white.
bright but strange light, not sure if I like it
Whilst friends have commented in the daytime that this is a great light for my hall, this is usually in the daytime when it does indeed make a rather dark hallway feel like its a brighter day. But at night this light is nothing short of annoyingly bright and rather blue. I admit I struggle with Eco bulbs because I just like the type of light cast by good old fashioned tungsten too much, and despite my personal and professional Eco intentions (I'm an environment manager), I rarely actually like the light from low energy bulbs. As they go, this one is ok, but I guess we save even more energy at night by turning this off as the light is just too harsh.
