- 5% fat diced beef
- Beef sourced from Quality Assured UK and Irish farms
Ask The Butcher:
“Eden diced beef is taken from selected cuts, which are leaner and lower in fat. These cuts are ideal for slow cooking and should be braised and stewed, rather than fried – quick cooking can cause the meat to become tough, but cooked over a longer time in a casserole or stew, the muscle breaks down and it becomes beautifully tender”

I cooked this beef in the slow cooker to make a beef pie. It was so tasty, it fell apart. Was so yummy!
looked better than tasted
what a shame this looks so lovely but unfortunately some of it was tough so sorry no more for me
used it fir stir fry. had to ditch the whole meal as the meat was like rubber, non chewable and tasteless
Lean & tender
I have to agree with the previous review this was lovely even sized peices of beef that were lean with no fat at all. If cooked properly it's tender and melts in the mouth. I slow cooked our's and o can't fault it. Great purchase worth every penny
No complaints here!
I recently purchased this but upto press had not read any reviews, thankfully! Trimmed, equally shaped beef pieces, very little fat when cooked. Made a really nice beef and ale casserole, it was a little dry because I over cooked it. Other than that there is nothing negative at all to say. Try it for yourself rather than be steered by very harsh over expectant critics. It's lean, clean and convenient!
will become a regular
I wonder if negative reviewers cooked it wrongly. It's supposed to be braised - a quick, hot sear, then a low, slow simmer. Beautifully even pieces and so lean that we just tipped it straight into the pan without any further trimming. Lovely deep colour. Such beautiful flavour and soft texture that our toddler gleefully gobbled up as big a portion as I served for myself!
