Product Information
Our cuvée “Les Conversations” is a tribute to the art of dialogue — between terroirs, talents, and generations. Born from the collaboration of the Edmond de Rothschild family's estates on both banks of Bordeaux, this wine reflects over 50 years of dedication to revealing the region’s finest expressions. Crafted through ongoing exchanges between the Left and Right Bank technical teams, “Les Conversations” embodies the harmony of shared expertise. It is meant to be enjoyed in good company, where stories flow as easily as the wine in your glass — just like the meaningful conversations that inspired its name.

History
If the Rothschild name is now synonymous with wine-making excellence,
that is because wine has always been a family passion. This passion
dates back to 8 August 1868 to be precise, the date on which James
de Rothschild acquired the famous Château Lafite.
Later, Edmond de Rothschild — who dreamed of owning an intimate and discreet vineyard that he could shape according to his vision — went on to acquire Château Clarke, along with more than 100 hectares of vines in the Médoc region. In 2003, his son Benjamin continued the family tradition by purchasing Château des Laurets on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, in the Saint-Émilion region, marking the Rothschild family's first venture into this renowned terroir.

Regional information
Bordeaux is more than a wine region — it is a global symbol of excellence, heritage, and savoir-faire. Nestled in the southwest of France, its vineyards stretch along the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, giving rise to some of the world’s most coveted appellations: Médoc, Saint-Émilion, Pomerol, Graves, and Sauternes, to name just a few.
What makes Bordeaux unique is its unparalleled diversity of terroirs and grape varieties, enabling the creation of both iconic blends and elegant single-varietal wines. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc express themselves here with rare depth and complexity, shaped by centuries of craftsmanship and an enduring commitment to quality.
Tasting notes
A stunning deep garnet hue catches the eye. The aroma is vibrant and dominated by ripe, fresh fruit, while subtle hints of fine wood and a touch of vanilla emerge after aeration, adding complexity. On the palate, the wine is graceful with soft tannins balanced by refreshing acidity. Its elegant, prolonged intensity leads to a fruity, flavourful finish that lingers beautifully.
