Carefully followed cooking instructions, but end result was almost inedible.
These gammon steaks were terrible. They were tough, chewy and very gristly. All 3 of us could only eat about a 3rd of the the steak as had to throw the rest away. Wouldn't even give the left overs to our dog!
The worst gammon steak I've ever had. It's not a steak, it's just bits put together. When you take them out of the packet, they just fall apart. Very disappointing.
A nice size steak but far too salty which ruined the meal !!!
These gammon steaks are simply lovely. We have tried and loved Edward's sausages & bacon before, so we thought we'd give the gammon a try. It didn't disappoint. Butcher's quality, so felt like really good value for money.
This gammon is definately a very good quality. I pan fried it for 11-12 minutes turning over every cpl of minutes. It was lovely. Very tasty....Only downside for us -it is too salty! I will try soaking it for a bit before cooking, next time.
