Just like Double cream
Always keep a tub in the fridge. Looks and tastes like double cream and lasts forever..... unlike double cream.
A reliable product
Lasts ages in the fridge. Add it to recipes, sometimes have with strawberries. tastes like normal double cream in my opinion!
Creamy
This is so handy to keep in the fridge, has a long use by date and tastes just like fresh cream.
Low carb for coffee
I use this in my coffee. I used to use double cream, but had to get this one day, and was surprised by how little difference there was in the carbs compared to cream. So I save a few calories and still have a wonderfully creamy coffee. It also lasts longer. It does sometimes separate, but soon melts in and has no impact on the taste.
Nice cream alternative but doesn’t whip the same!
Today was my second time trying to whip this to a stiff consistency and I’m afraid it just doesn’t quite match up to real cream. Obviously this is a great product in its own right and absolutely no issue if you know what you want/are buying. For the sake of anyone else wondering though it definitely took me twice as long to thicken - around 15 mins compared to 5ish of double cream - and as stated above even then it’s about the consistency of dream topping which again is absolutely grand if that’s what you are hoping for.
