Aromas of cherry, blueberry, black tea, capsicum and black pepper. Fruity taste with a spicy finish. Good quality Carmenere and if you like red wine with Indian food, its a good match. 2019 vintage reviewed.
No wonder this is on clearance - it tastes cooked, not corked, cooked . It has clearly been stored incorrectly and left in a high heat. Real shame as I was looking forward to this as a treat and once open ended up pouring down the sink.
Superbly balanced, full-bodied red, elegant with perfect, supple tannins. Spice, dark berry-fruit with hint of liquorice on the tongue & long finish a lovely jammy nose. Best carmenere Ive tasted & worth every penny!
