The Blend 2013 was handcrafted with what I consider to be the best selection of grapes of the vintage. The Blend combines varieties that originated from the Rhone Valley and Spain such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan.

Tasting Notes
Fresh red fruits and spice appear on the nose and palate, where firm and lively tannins team up with nervy acidity and sturdy structure for a lusciously persistent wine with a long life ahead.
History
Errazuriz was founded in 1870 by Don Maximiano Errazuriz when he pioneered the planting of vineyards at Panquehue in Chile's Aconcagua Valley, 100km north of Santiago. Today the estate is run by Eduardo Chadwick, Don Maximiano's descendant and the 5th generation of his family to be involved in winemaking.
Regional Information
The Blend comes from specific sectors of the Valle de Aconcagua. These vineyards have a prolonged dry season with moderately warm summer days cooled by the evening breezes that enter the valley from the Pacific Ocean.
