These need to be cooked for well over an hour to be even remotely edible, cooking instructions are way off. Also didnt like the size variation, half of the bag was large chips the other half was teeny tiny chunks of potato. Not impressed at all.
Stated cooking time is wrong
These and most other brands of frozen oven chips seem to recommend 25 mins at 200 degrees. 40 to 45 mins is often required to get fully cooked chips. The chips are actually quite decent for a cheap brand. Not bad at all.
Has the bag shrunk
I haven't bought these in a while and spotted them. They taste great but why is the bag so small, would feed 2 generously but not a family.
These chips are really basic quality, have a weird fatty smell and always end up soggy!
not very impressed
I gave this product 2 stars as my husband didn't actually complain about them, but I found there was a huge size variation which made it difficult to judge cooking time. A lot of tiny scrappy bits which would make up the weight. I usually cook my chips on a grill pan in the oven so they come out all over crispy, but some of the scraps were so small they wouldn't even straddle the grill lines.
Great quick non greasy chips
Lovely quick chips, not greasy and feel healthy
