cant get enough
Delicious. Quick and easy to pan fry either plain or with seasoning. Yes they are quite fatty but thats the cut of pork so if you dont like fat on your meat these arent for you.
I order them every week. Me and my husband have 2 each, sprinkled with BBQ seasoning mix and quickly pan fried on a medium high heat. The kids have 1 each, left plain. I trim the fat if there is any. Served with mixed salad and a jacket spud they make a tasty, quick and easy evening meal. I've also used them thinly sliced into a stir fry and they're perfect for this too. I don't understand the negative reviews, they're clearly advertised as thin cut loin steaks, that's what you get. For thicker steaks order regular loin steaks or chops.
nice and thin
Nice and thin so they cook quickly. Great for quick meal. Marinade it with soy sauce and chinese five spice to make tasty Taiwanese pork chop with rice. Yum
perfect for Chinese dishes
Love these chops maybe a bit thin to have on the side with some mashed potatoes and veg but perfect to cut into strips to do stir fry and chow mein sometimes have to trim a bit of fat from around the edge not to much tho it adds flavour
EXTREMELY thin and too fatty
When I do an Ocado shop I expect to pay a little more but to have better quality meat. These loin steaks were a rare exception. Thinnest I have ever seen in my life (6 in pack) and full of fat. Disappointed.
Maybe I just don't know how to cook it...
Tried 2 different ways of cooking recommended here in the reviews - both were crap.
