Brand
Famille Perrin
Famille Perrin are one of the leading family wine companies of the Southern Rhone Valley, famous for producing one of the top wines of the region; Chateau de Beaucastel. They also own vineyards in many other important areas of Cotes du Rhone, Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Vinsobres. White Cotes du Rhone is quite rare, representing only around 10% of the regions production. It is always a blend of indigenous grape varieties that give wines of great complexity with fruit as well as savoury almost nutty notes making for a very enjoyable glass of wine.

Vinification Details
The grapes are harvested early in the morning to benefit from the freshness of the night. After pressing, the juices are cold settled in order to remove suspended particles. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and lasts about 15 days, the temperatures are regulated at 16 ° C. The wines are then racked and aged in stainless steel tanks until bottling.

Rich and complex
This is a lovely rich wine from Famille Perrin, full of smooth rich flavours with a hint of flintiness. I like it quite chilled, straight from the fridge. Knowing the winemaker's dedication to biodynamic viticulture adds to the enjoyment of this lovely "clean" wine with fish or seafood.
