This is a must for Swedish Christmas lunch with cinnamon, sugar, milk - and one hazelnut to find out who will be married during the next year!
Also a great start in the morning - eat for breakfast with jam and milk.

I was curious
I decided to try this as I was a little curious. Firstly the packing is minimal - more like a squishy sausage, thats fine, a little less plastic is always good. If you really love that other rice pudding then this may not be for you. Its not sweet. I added half a teaspoon of brown sugar to my helping. I think weve become so used to buying products packed with sugar we just expect a pudding to have your teeth zinging. First taste and I got the creaminess, not the saltiness that other customers noticed...maybe my tastebuds are a bit off. I didnt find the texture strange and the rice is a little firmer than maybe what were used to here. I think this brand is Swedish. All I can say is its a lovely thick pudding. 2 good servings and really rather nice. Good price too
Swedish rice pudding
It's far too salty unfortunately
Theres too much salt in our diets already so why youd put it in a pudding Im not sure! Beautifully creamy pudding but will not buy again purely due to salt level
Taste OK but packaging far too messy
I quite liked the plain salty taste. However, the consistency is unpleasant, half the rice grains inside seem to be completely uncooked therefore crunchy and just not very nice. Worst of all is the packaging. The whole thing comes in a horrible plastic sausage and it is very messy and fiddly to get out. I cannot understand why on earth this rather expensive stuff cannot come in an eco friendly tin, or if it has to be plastic, make it a tub with lid. Will not buy again. Too much effort and money for just OK taste.
Low sugar rice pudding
I'm not going to beat about the bush, this is the best rice pudding sold in the UK, made by a Swedish company (not that other company). Its only downside is being packed like a salami sausage! Whats-that-about!!! Please put it in a yogurt pot or tin can instead. The low sugar ingredients allows the milky, ricey goodness to talk for itself.
This is not your usual dessert style rice pudding from the UK. Since visiting many parts of Scandinavia and having this at breakfast time I was looking to source some when I returned. Delicious. Think of porridge, but made with rice instead, to get the general idea.
