Disappointing
Unpleasant chemical taste. Undrinkable. I like most of Fever-Trees products but would not buy this again.
Not pleasant
Fever-tree normally get it very right but this is disappointing. It is artificial tasting and has very little in the way of the taste of an espresso.
Not a winner
It's a mixer, so you know it's not going to be perfect but in my opinion this is way too sweet. You're better off sticking with the original recipe for the espresso martini: an espresso shot, a shot of vodka and a coffee liqueur (balance with simple syrup only if needed) because this had a slight artificial aftertaste which Fever-Tree tied to hide with excessive sweetness. It got poured away after two test-runs. Sorry Fever-Tree.
Authentic
Very nice & tastes & looks like a £15 cocktail! Makes 3 generous Espresso Martini cocktails 🍸
OK
It was okay, but that's about it, I'll be sticking to a shot of espresso with a single shot of vodka and coffee liqueur in the future.
Drinkable
Tried it first with vodka, it had an oddly bitter, artificial note. Added a touch of almond vanilla milk, mellowed it out. I would def purchase again.
