Preparation and Usage
Hob - from ambient. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add salt to taste. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 3 minutes. Then, drain the pasta and immediately add your favourite condiments or sauces. Filotea Garlic & Parsley Linguine Egg Pasta is excellent with smoked fish sauces such as salmon.

Tasty
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Really nice pasta with a subtle garlic and parsley flavour. Premium packaging and pretty on the plate with its golden hue and flecks of green. The box says it contains 4 portions which might seem a bit small for big appetites. Quite expensive compared to regular pasta though.
Quality Pasta!
I received this item free from Ocado in exchange for an honest review. I’ve never tried linguine before as I’m not a great pasta fan……maybe tortellini once or twice a year but that’s about as far as it goes. I made a ‘ragu’ of mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, garlic and a spot or more of chilli flakes to warm and sizzle (slightly) in the oil before putting the mushrooms in. Some cooked prawns tossed in at the end before mixing through the cooked linguine. Have to say, we really enjoyed. The pasta shone through the whole dish - will most definitely be buying in future. Thankful to have been able to try this product for free, otherwise would never have bothered to buy.
OMGOODNESS Im converted!
I was given this free in exchange for a review and honestly I got this for my stepson as hes addicted to pasta howeveras a last minute meal due to limited cooking available as having house renovations me and the OH decided to use it ( please bear in mind that we are not fans of pasta usually because it leaves us uncomfortably full and bloated and usually its heavy and cloying ) BUT I can genuinely say this is the most delicious pasta I have ever come across, so insanely light and delicate but the flavour really comes through the pasta and it REALLY grips the sauce! We both agreed we would serve this for a dinner party it really is that good! Honestly we truly are converted and this will definitely without doubt be a regular item for us, Im shocked I never thought Id enjoy pasta, so highly recommended.
Special pasta
We have tried other Filotea pastas and they are all very good. Didn't find the garlic flavour overwhelming, but we are garlic fiends and nothing can be too garlicky for us. Cooks well, very nice taste and texture and grips sauce well. Very nicely packaged with a premium feel, so also make a nice present as part of a hamper, etc. Price point is higher in comparison to other ordinary dried pasta, but the quality is there so good for a treat. I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado.

I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Cooked following instruction and it is very tasty, comparable to the best I have had. Though it is a bit expensive, will buy again when on sales next time.
