Filotea Genoese Basil Pesto

Filotea Genoese Basil Pesto is prepared following the traditional recipe. The manufacturing involves only the use of Genoese POD Basil. The production happens within hours of the basil barvest to ensure all the plant’s properties are preserved.

Once open, store in refrigerator covered with olive oil between (+4°C/+8°C).

Cook your favourite pasta and drain, then place the pasta back in to the saucepan and add the pesto to it. Heat for a minute or two over a low flame, mix well and serve. Ideal with pastas such as tagliatelle, linguine, tagliolini and lasagne but can also be used as an ingredient for many other dishes.

Olive oil, Genoese Basil PDO (26%), Grana Padano cheese (milk, rennet, preservative: lysozyme from egg, salt), Roman pecorino cheese(milk, rennet,salt) garlic, cashew nuts, salt, pine nuts, plant fibre. Acidity regulator: citric acid.
