£4.40
£5.50£1.76 per 100gProduct information
Rough textured pasta that is excellent with ragu sauces.
Filotea produces dry egg pasta in the Marche region (central Italy), using the finest raw materials and following a unique recipe and artisan preparation methods. The result is an egg pasta that is reminiscent of a homemade one, traditionally prepared by grandmothers. It is light and easy to digest, while its textured surface helps to absorbe the sauces, thus exalting the flavour of all the ingredients. Filotea is regarded as one of the 'Top Italian Food & Beverage Experience' by the leading Gambero Rosso guide.

Just ok, too thick, really long cooking time
This pasta is way too thick and takes really long to cook. The taste is just about ok, nothing that would justify the high price. It says it will cook in 8 minutes but it needed 13 mins before it was soft enough to eat. Despite the long cooking time it still stayed lumpy. Never again.
Very nice
Perfect dried pasta to keep in the cupboard for when you want a fresh tasting pasta. A little expensive full price, but great to stock up on when on offer!
disappointed
Was broken, broke more when cooked. Was bumpy in texture and too thick. Clumsy very expensive pasta.
Disappointing
Thicker than most pappardelle, and it goes very mushy when cooked rather than retaining a bit of bite, and falls apart when you try to wind it round your fork. Not recommended.
beautiful noodles
Lovely, light and silky. Boil for 10 mins.
A taste of Italy
Really delicious. Tasted like fresh pasta but is dried.
