£5.50£1.76 per 100gProduct information
Rough textured pasta that is excellent with ragu sauces.
Filotea produces dry egg pasta in the Marche region (central Italy), using the finest raw materials and following a unique recipe and artisan preparation methods. The result is an egg pasta that is reminiscent of a homemade one, traditionally prepared by grandmothers. It is light and easy to digest, while its textured surface helps to absorbe the sauces, thus exalting the flavour of all the ingredients. Filotea is regarded as one of the 'Top Italian Food & Beverage Experience' by the leading Gambero Rosso guide.

best dried pasta
I dont love pasta unless its fresh usually - but this comes really close to the fresh stuff. Really tasty, great texture and nice that its already separated into serving sizes!
Texture
Love Tagliatelle but this ones texture and taste is offputting. didnt know pasta could be bad
Good for dried
This is a very good quality dried pasta, however it is very expensive and for the money you can get fresh pasta which is nicer.
Not recommended
I usually love quality artisan pasta but this was virtually inedible to me. The tagliatelle are much too thick and have what I can only describe as an unpleasant texture.
Great dried pasta
Worth the expense for this tagliatelle, it is superior to all other brands and while only 250g, there are 4 generous portions in a box in ready divided nests. Great when it's on offer too.
Good Quality Pasta
I have tried several of the Filotea brand pastas and I am very pleased with them all. Once again, you get what you pay for. My go to is normally Pasta di Aldo which is a little more expensive, but this is on par.
