Fish Said Fred ASC Sea Bass Fillets

Hi - I'm Fred and I'm on a mission to deliver everyday fish that'll make your week. And in my experience, nothing puts smiles on faces quite like a proper fillet of sea bass. It might just be the most versatile fish going, and it takes on flavours brilliantly. I like to serve these fillets with a chickpea stew or steamed with ginger and soy - but really it's endless. Or why not try cooking it on a BBQ for a lovely smoky flavour?

Our sea bass is from Turkey, and the team here work closely with the ASC to make sure every pack of fish with my name on it has been sourced responsibly. At Fish Said Fred, that's a non-negotiable. And the fact that it's so healthy is just a bonus. The NHS recommends eating two portions of fish a week, but why stop there? I could eat it every day! And pretty much do.

Eat within a month and defrost thoroughly before cooking. Always cook fully before serving.

Shallow Fry - From Chilled. Super easy to cook...
Remove all packaging before cooking.
1. Preheat 2 tsp. (10ml) of oil in a frying pan.
2. Season fillets with salt and pepper, and place skin side down in the pan.
3. Cook for 5-6 minutes on a medium heat, turning halfway during cooking.
The natural size of fish and cooking appliances may vary - this is a guide only.
Ensure piping hot before serving.
Do not reheat.

Storage:
Keep refrigerated, below 5°C. Once opened, cook and eat within one day. Cook or freeze before the use by date. This fish has been frozen before and safely defrosted.
Still suitable for home freezing, defrost fully before cooking.
Do not refreeze once defrosted. Use within one month.
