This is a delicious 'semi seco' cava - meaning it is slightly sweeter and richer to balance the chill of ice so that the taste of our wine is not diluted. To create Freixenet Ice Rosé we have selected two of the main red grape varieties - Garnacha and Pinot Noir. Garnacha delivers a touch of spice and delightful ripe red fruit, while Pinot Noir brings freshness, and flavours of juicy woodland fruits.
Add some summer berries for the perfect summery tipple. For refreshing enjoyment at anytime, try mixing it with your own choice of extra flavours. Great with fruit salads, duck, and sweet desserts.
Freixenet ICE Rosé is an award winning wine. And remember, best enjoyed on ice.

This cava is lovely with a nice refreshing taste. Friends all enjoyed it and a good price especially when on offer. I bought a couple as gifts as well - the bottle is very pretty.
great gift ideas
They are good looking girly design bottles which I get for gifts as well. Tastes good as well, it is good price.
great when on offer
Lovely wine and the bottle is beautiful - nice as gifts (dinner party / round to friends for drinks, etc).
I can only think that the two people who gave this poor reviews are not used to drinking sparkling wine. I was introduced to champagne in my early twenties, almost 70 years ago, and since then have sampled everything from Krug to Freixenet. I decided to make bubbles my house wine and "nearly" only drink Ice Rose with occasional bottle of claret or burgundy if the meat warrants it. I spent the best part of three years sampling before settling for the ice rose from Freixenet and it has become a firm favourite of all my older grandchildren also. As yet I haven't had an "off" bottle in the last three years, and comparing it with similar priced wine I haven't found anything better.
This was on offer so I thought Id give it a try. The bottle is the best part about this, the contents for me unpalatable. Nasty bitter, metallic tasting Cava in a pretty bottle. Totally underwhelming. If you like Cava this may be right up your street. For the £8.99 (offer) price tag - I wish Id bought a nice bottle of Prosecco instead.
Not for me - reminiscent of cheap pear fizz
Very sweet rather than just off dry.
