Producer
One of the pioneers of the modern Greek wine revolution, Gaia Estate was established in 1994 by winemakers Leon Karatsalos and Yiannis Paraskevopoulos.
With wineries in both Nemea and Santorini, Gaia's mission is to present the potential of indigenous Greek grape varieties to wine enthusiasts worldwide.
Serving suggestions
This wine's versatile character makes it a great match for a variety of dishes, including lamb, roasted or tandoori chicken, pizza, and hard cheeses.
Winemaker
The grapes are sourced from low-yielding, non-irrigated vineyards on the hills of the Nemea region and are hand-picked.
Before fermentation, the grapes undergo a 48-hour cold soak at a low temperature to extract color and aromas. The wine is then made in an unoaked style to maintain its fresh and fruity profile.
