The golden rules of cheese toasties
1. For your first cheese (a proper cheese toastie should have two), you want a good melter. Gruyère, Comté, Red Leicester, Emmental or mozzarella are irresistibly gooey when melted.
2. Your second cheese should have a stronger flavour, complementing the indulgent texture of the first. Try extra mature cheddar, Stilton, Wensleydale, Parmesan or goat's cheese.
3. Grate never slice - your cheeses to ensure an even melt.
4. Always include a layer of leeks or onions, gently fried off in a pan.

Once opened, fold down the packaging tightly and reseal with the sticker. Store in a cool, dry place (ideally a bread bin). As we only use natural ingredients, our bread is best enjoyed right away. Enjoy fresh for the first few days, and then as toast for a few more. For best before, please see sticker.
