Garofalo has been making pasta for over 300 years in Gragnano near Naples in Italy, the home of pasta. Made from 100% robust desert durum wheat and shaped using a bronze die gives Garofalo pasta its premium taste and texture.
Casarecce originates from Sicily, but is also typical of central southern Italy. Casarecce pasta is shaped like a very narrow, twisted and rolled tube, and whose name means `homemade', and is best served with a chunky sauce.

The best pasta
This pasta retains its shape and tastes so good, looks great and delicious with any sauce you make
This pasta cooks perfectly in the exact time frame given. It doesn't go soggy and floppy and lose it's shape, retaining a perfect texture. This is my new favourite 'fail safe' pasta.
A welcome change from penne!
Fully agree with previous review. Cooks really well and has great flavour. Some pastas are very easy to over cook and then go flabby but this seems very forgiving and you can get " al dente" without watching like a hawk. Would highly recommend. Much prefer this to penne which I used to use a lot.
Just love this pasta. Shape is very Sicilian and goes well with pesto and spicy tomato based sauces. Remains al dente and has a wonderful full flavour. Definitely worth paying that bit extra for.
