Product Information
The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG - Geografico comes from the best locations in the famous wine region of Montalcino in Tuscany. The grapes are carefully handpicked to select only the best and ripest fruits. In the winery, vinification takes place using the latest techniques, where the grapes are gently pressed and fermented. Subsequently, the wine ages for at least four years (including at least two years in oak barrels) to develop its complex aromas and achieve an excellent structure. This meticulous process ensures that the Brunello reflects the highest quality and the distinctive character of the region.

Brand details
In the heart of Tuscany, a treasure of unrivalled beauty stands:
the Chianti hills. Their wavy and sinuous shapes have always drawn people’s attention since the remote times of the Etruscans. There, at the beginning of Sixties, seventeen winegrowers joined to give voice to Tuscan countryside and to revamp the local economy. Thus was born, in the shadow of a farmhouse, the cooperative of the Agricoltori del Chianti Geografico (Farmers of Chianti Geografico), an adventure meant to write the history of Tuscan wine.

Serving suggestions
The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG - Geografico is the ideal companion to hearty dishes and fine cuisine. It harmonizes perfectly with aged, spicy cheese, hearty game dishes, or a perfectly grilled beef steak. The wine also reveals its full potential with Italian specialties such as lasagna or tagliatelle al ragù.
Vinification details
The grapes, harvested manually during the second half of September, undergo careful pressing. The must obtained is transferred to small stainless steel tanks, where it undergoes a fermentation lasting about two weeks. However, Brunello’s true profile emerges during the ageing phase. The wine rests in oak barrels for about two years, where it matures and slowly absorbs the unmistakable aromas of the wood of the barrels. The distribution on the market cannot take place before 5 years after the harvest.
