Giffard Orgeat Almond Syrup

Pure sugar syrup with a good taste of bitter almonds. Aromatic and sweet flavour of Orgeat.
Essential ingredient in Tiki cocktails like in the timeless Mai Tai. The flavor of almonds is at once, nutty, fruity and confectiononary.

Finding the best varieties of plants and fruits, so that their rich flavours can be extracted, has always been at the heart of what we do. In order to keep all the organoleptic, physicochemical and sanitary qualities, they shall not undergo too high temperature changes. Important rises in temperature accelerate the ageing and can lead to significant damages. (loss of colour, mould, …)
Store in a cool dry place, away from light.
Optimal shelf life : 3 year in its sealed packaging

Excellent in cocktails, to flavour hot and cold drinks (coffee, tea, milk...) or desserts.
Try it in a Mai Tai cocktail at home!
>Ingredients:
60 ml Aged rum
15 ml Giffard Orange Curaçao Liqueur
20 ml lime juice
10 ml Giffard Orgeat syrup


>Preparation:
1. Add the ingredients to a shaker
2. Ice up 2/3 of the shaker with cubed ice
3. Shake vigorously for 7 to 10 seconds
4. Strain into a glass filled with crushed ice
5. Garnish with a mint sprig, cherry, lime wedge and serve
