Ginsters pasties are generally pretty meh, I didn't mind this one though, nice slices of potato and the quorn is alright, general seasoning/gravy could be tastier though
Stodgy and monotonous
Unfortunately not very nice. Very stodgy and monotonous. Was hoping it might be like Greggs Vegan Steak Bake but nothing like it at all. Tried cold and also cooked in the Aga, just very mediocre. Occasional big bits of pepper that weren't very pleasant, just generally not good. Would benefit from thinner pastry and more flavour. Bought two on offer and couldn't finish either - even shared with my younger brother. Shame because I'd love a good vegan pasty alternative.
Greatest Vegan Pastie
I have tasted a few vegan pasties - this one is the best. Cook in the oven. Must admit not a healthy snack but tasty
Lovely quick lunch
These are great for a quick lunch with a salad. Although they're better warmed up in the oven they microwave well too.
Not if you like 'normal' Cornish Pasties
We tried one between us, heated & thankfully served with tasty veg & a mild parsley sauce. Expecting Cornish pasty with more veg + quorn we were disappointed these are filled with misc shaped ingredients - none of which were identifiable nor with any particular flavour. . It's been a long long time since I attempted to eat something so bland & tasteless. GINSTERS - why not JUST do a Cornish pasty without meat, more of the usual veg + an extra like peas?
yummy in my tummy
About time we got a Quorn mince Ginsters. Yummy pasty, will buy again
