Brand
With an ingenious mind and a charismatic personality, James Grant, "The Major", was only twenty five when he inherited the Glen Grant Distillery in Rothes, Speyside. A forward thinking and unconventional man, he personally designed innovative tall slender pot stills with unique purifiers to achieve his vision of a seductively smooth, fruity, rich, superior single malt.
"The Major" was one of the first distillers in Scotland to introduce purifiers into the distillation process. The purifiers further refine our whisky by ensuring only the very finest vapours condense into spirit. The result is an elegant and delicate style of whisky for which Glen Grant is renowned.

Exquisite, exceptional, outstanding!
This is a perfect Speyside, every bit as good as our favourite Glenrothes. It has an exquisite full rounded flavour with a perfect balance of subtle sweetness and depth. It also has a gloriously smooth nectar-like mouthfeel. Outstanding, exceptional, exquisite!
Not What It Was.
This whisky is not as good as it was before the new labelling and packaging. Very harsh, tastes like a cheap whisky , will not be buying again.
Wonderful Choice
Online 'supermarket' buy, but not disappointed at all. Great flavours, lovely mouth feel and finish. Superb. Had tried a indepedent bottling of GG cask stength in a blind taste so thought this basic 10yo expression might be worth a try and it was a great decision.
Totally brilliant!
Rare purity with a delicious, light subtle & slightly sweet edge to it. A great example of a Speyside
