Bresaola is traditionally produced in Valtellina in Lombardy. It's made from rump beef, one of the most prized cuts, and flavoured with salt, pepper, cinnamon and cloves before being slowly cured. Light and tasty, it's the perfect cold cut for all seasons and goes well with many dishes. Bresaola has an even, bright red colour.
Golfera is a family-run business currently managed by its third generation. Golfera is located in Lavezzola, an old town of lower Romagna in the countryside near Bologna, Ferrara and Ravenna, where they have been producing premium-quality cured and cooked meats following traditional recipes for over 50 years.

Plenty, tasty, no plastic/artificial flavour or texture. No grease. I loved this. Quite meaty. Had over a bed of rocket mixed with olive oil. Fabulous
Very delicate flavour, was expecting more of a cure, the meat to be slightly saltier. It's nice but I'm looking for more interest when buying meat platters.
I bought this to use in an antipasti platter. We found it tasteless with a rather unpleasant smell. Would not buy again or recommend

We come from Italy and know exactly why these products should taste like. This product as soon as opened smelt strongly of chemical! Clearly not the smell of curd meat nor of something to consider normal. Smells of contaminated food.
