Rooted in the ancient food traditions of Abruzzo, ventricina is one of Italy's most celebrated and least known salami. Produced since the nineteenth century in the rugged hills of the Chieti province, it is prized for its coarsely hand-cut texture, vivid red colour and the bold, pleasantly spicy character that comes from sweet and hot pepper, wild fennel seeds and black pepper. Golfera's Organic Ventricina is made from selected pork raised in certified organic farming, staying true to the robust flavour and coarse texture that define this Abruzzese classic. And with packaging containing 65% less plastic than traditional formats, it delivers something rarer still: a salami you can feel good about in every sense.

Preparation and Usage


Ready to consume. For best results, remove from the fridge and open the pack about 30 minutes before eating. It makes all the difference to the flavour!
