History
Ever since my great, great grandfather, Manuel Maria Gonzalez, founded our family business in 1835, every bottle bearing the Gonzalez Byass name has carried our reputation for quality and consistency. Regional Information
Finca Constancia is situated in the province of Toledo in Castilla-La Mancha, about 100km from Madrid. The estate, purchased in 2001, was chosen due to the very distinctive make-up of its soil. It is protected by two mountain ranges, the Sierra de Gredos and the Montes de Toledo. The vineyard is divided into 70 parcels which are all harvested and vinified separately.

Vinification Details
The Tempranillo and Syrah grapes are harvested at the optimum point of ripeness. To prevent oxidation they are harvested at night. The must remains in contact with the skins to extract colour. It is then moved to stainless steel tanks where it is fermented at a controlled temperature to preserve the fruit character

Better than Provence Rose
Don't be put off by the deep pink colour on the screen! This arrived as the 2019 vintage and is as pale pink as a Provence Rose. Really delicious, light, floral, elegant style of wine. Bottle is tall and feminine, I really enjoyed the look and the feel. A must have this summer I reckon.

personal preference means 3stars from us
I don't want to give this a bad review as wine is so subjective. Giving this 3stars on personal preference alone. I prefer red wines and my wife prefers white wines, the only way we share a bottle is to buy rose! To give a sense of what that means our current favourite is Italia Pinot Grigio Rose which we are both happy with. Unfortunately this was too 'red' in flavour for us to share, although I happily finished it off. I'm sure others will enjoy it
