Sometimes only a saucepan will do, but microwave cookery usually means using a bowl instead, which can make for spills and scalded fingers when emptying the contents out. This lidded plastic saucepan solves the problem and even has a pouring lip for added convenience.
Use for all types of soups, sauces, milk, gravy, beans, frozen foods etc.

Very brittle so breaks easily
Great idea that is just not up to the job. Ours shattered when it was lightly caught in the dishwasher. We gave it a second try but again it failed.
dangerous, handle snapped
Bought for my elderly mother, handle snapped after a month of infrequent use. Dangerous and not fit for purpose.
Lovely microwave saucepan. Ideal for warming, not least of all milk and rice pudding. I was surprised at the hard plastic, not the usual rubbery plastic that microwave containers are made of. I find it very handy. The handle is good for me to handle with my arthritis.
cracked after first time using it
did not last long
Unfortunately this developed a crack in the bottom and I only ever used it for heating baked beans
Lasted just over three months
Well, this was quite a nice little pan while it lasted, although the handle is flimsy so I always took care to hold it as close to the body of the pan as I could. In the end, though, it wasn't the handle that went. The pan developed a crack in the base - not large, but enough to see daylight through. The base had also warped a little. All I'd done was defrost some vegan meatballs in it (they were then cooked in another container); I'm quite sure they didn't get hot enough to damage the plastic. Take-home message is that if you have one of these and want it to last a bit longer, don't put anything other than liquids in it, and even then inspect it carefully every time you wash it. I won't be buying another.
