Straight from the cantinas of Mexico City. Our black beans are slowly simmered with onion and garlic for deep, savoury flavour and a silky texture. Made in Mexico to a traditional recipe, they’re the perfect base for burritos, a hearty taco filler or a simple side with real Mexican soul.

After heating the beans, serve in a bowl and sprinkle crumbled feta cheese, sliced avocado and chopped coriander on top. Make it a meal by adding chunks of fried chorizo.

For extra spice try adding Gran Luchito Fire Roasted Serranos.

Heat the beans and place in a food processor and blend with 1tsp Gran Luchito Chipotle Paste until smooth. Put in a bowl and top with sour cream and coriander. Serve with Gran Luchito Tortilla Chips or try in quesadillas, burritos or layered on nachos and tacos for a flavourful layer.
