Quality
Great quality, I followed the cooking instructions and it turned out lovely.
Delighted with this
Cooked in a slowcooker , this was delicious and succulent. Plenty of favour and fell off the bone. It produced enough meat to comfortably feed 4 along served with a selection of root vegetables . Delighted with this purchase.
wimborne
Brought this on a flash sale and will not be buying again it smelt funny and when cooked hardly any meat on the bird
Absolutely fantastic
Got these at a discount - the whole family loved it, nicely roasted, just like unmolested, uninterfered with chicken. Lovely meat. Never had it before but more than happy to get this regularly at full price now. One fowl makes two very greedy portions so could easily stretch to 4.
good value
Nice mild Haney taste . Reliable quality as we get this every now and then . Succulent when spatchcocked or jointed and slow roasted with halved lemons (so as not to dry it out).
Ruined Christmas dinner
Ordered a guinea fowl for Christmas dinner but, despite having gone straight in fridge on arrival, and being a day within its sell by date, when opened it smelled rank. Certainly wasn't going to risk food poisoning at Christmas. Very disappointing.
