H. Forman & Son
1934, Louis Forman with the largest salmon caught in the 20th Century Lance Forman continues the traditions his family created in 1905 Forman's Royal Fillet served in sashimi-style slices. Simplicity and perfection. Visit our Smokehouse, Restaurant & Gallery, opposite London's Olympic Stadium.
My great grandfather started smoking the 'king of fish' in London's East End in 1905, making us the world's oldest producer of Smoked Salmon. As it was then, so it is now. We still prepare our world famous Smoked Salmon totally by hand in our family smokehouse. We begin with the freshest, best grade Scottish salmon within hours of it being landed. We cure only in pure rock salt and cold-smoke very lightly using whole oak logs.
Our sashimi-grade Royal Fillet is the finest cut of our smoked salmon; the piscatorial equivalent of a fillet of beef. Each and every pin-bone is painstakingly removed by hand allowing this skinless fillet to be sliced into sashimi-style slices to your desired thickness. Our Royal Fillet is ready to eat but equally, can be seared or charred for a matter of seconds for a melt-in-the mouth experience like no other.
I personally guarantee that every mouthful you enjoy will be of the same sashimi-grade quality we supply to Michelin Star Chefs.

I love this salmon ....its heavenly
I poached the first one I bought and shared it with my husband. So meaty and delicious.
I did a fruit de mer NYE and added this salmon to eat raw (sashimi grAded) with wasabi and pickled ginger.
Very expensive but well worth it for special occasion
Unfortunately the salmon was off well before its use by date - unpleasant smell and slimy texture. Im afraid that this time it had to go in the bin. Its a shame as weve had this in the past and its been great.
Lucky enough to get this on flash sale, so I used it for my husband's birthday brunch. Sliced thinly over truffled scrambled eggs, it was simply delicious. We will be getting some for Christmas. Wish they sold this using wild salmon, though - I know it would cost even more, but as a rare treat that would be okay, and it's even nicer.
